In this day and age, a lot of people identify themselves as “creators”, people who create something, preferably some form of art such as painting, music, or film. But it could also be as simple as articles, pictures, or even a few lines in a status update. Almost everyone can be a creator nowadays, as long as they bring something new into existence, produce something, or make something that did not exist before.
But have you ever asked yourself where creativity comes from? Is it really from you? Do ideas simply appear out of nowhere, or do God and the Universe place those thoughts inside your head through some kind of magical force?
A ton of questions have been raised around this topic. Some argue that creativity must be absolutely original, something no one has ever thought of before. Others believe we can invent something through planning, structure, or methods designed to spark inspiration. However, if it is truly creativity, can it really come from a method that already exists?
Then there is the bigger question of ownership. If you are the first person to come up with a new idea, product, or artwork, shouldn’t it belong to you and carry your name forever?
In this blog, let’s talk about what creativity truly is, and how we can embody that energy to experience those magical moments of inspiration, moments where our thoughts and actions align with the frequency of the Source. Through that alignment, we may create something extraordinary that resonates with humanity on a deep level, or even becomes a masterpiece that lives on forever.

1. Creativity is gratitude
Have you ever stopped to think for a moment that, in order for you to exist and have the ability to create, you first needed a body and a fully functioning mind to help you think, process information, and form conclusions? Therefore, the first and foremost form of gratitude should be toward your parents. They sacrificed their health, time, and resources to give you this physical body. They gave you this life. Your entire existence happened because of them.
This body is the foundation for every activity in this world, and it is also the foundation of your creativity. If you do not respect your parents, then anything you create will forever lack a basic foundation. No matter how beautiful it looks on the outside, it will feel hollow within. If you cannot appreciate the very reason for your existence, you lose touch with the life force behind every movement in this world. You lose touch with the Source.
Similarly, you should feel grateful for your ancestors and everyone who came before you, for what they did to give you the chance to be here today, carrying their blood and their name. You should be grateful for everyone who shaped the history of your city and the country you were born into: the soldiers who fought to build the land you now live on, the kings and queens, and even the humble farmers who once fed your great-great-great-grandparents.

All of this began long before you were born. And when you truly think about it, you realize that in order for you to be here, to have this environment and the ability to create, countless people extended a hand to make it possible.
Looking at the bigger picture, you should also feel gratitude toward the people who created languages, so you could read, learn, remember information, and generate new ideas. If you work in a particular field, be grateful for those who came before you, the people who developed the methods you now use, the famous formulas everyone relies on today, or those who helped prove theories that later became the foundation of your own research. Your predecessors, even those from hundreds of years ago, paved the way so you and future generations could learn, innovate, and create upon that foundation.
When we listen to music, we often only give credit to the singer and producer, while forgetting the people who created musical notation, those who developed methods for studying music, or the pioneers who gave birth to entire genres. When you create a new song, that song carries the creativity of countless people within the industry, your teachers, your mentors, your inspirations, and everyone who influenced your journey. They helped shape who you are and guided you to this moment, where you are finally able to create that rhythm.
Nothing belongs entirely to you, and that song did not simply appear out of nowhere. It is the result of an entire industry evolving together over time.
2. Creativity is about spreading the light.
Any creation, an idea, an invention, a piece of art, is a form of energy. If that energy is meant to change the world for the better, then it should be shared. When you are a creator, you embody that creative energy everywhere you go and in everything you do. You radiate it outward.
Therefore, every interaction you have becomes a chance to spread that light. When it touches another person, it affects their energy field. You influence the people who encounter you, whether they speak to you for only a second, use your product, read your words, or appreciate your art. Even if the encounter lasts only a brief moment, or the length of a song, or an hour of reading, your energy penetrates their field and changes them in some way.
From there, those people begin acting on a different frequency. They pass that energy on to others, and your creative energy continues spreading throughout the world. That is how a new wave of energy is created on Earth: by doing what you love and creating from the heart.

You become the first candle that lights many others with its inner flame. You inspire people to love working out, to learn the piano, to follow Buddhism, to live with more kindness, all because you shared your passion with them.
True creators, those who create from the heart, are never afraid of others stealing their ideas. If the purpose is to help the world and improve people’s lives, then isn’t it better for more people to spread that message? Even if someone else gets more likes, goes viral, or makes a lot of money from it, the most important thing is that your words are reaching people, your invention is being used, and the world is changing because of it.
You remain fulfilled whether people know your name or not, because you know you are contributing to change. On an energetic level, what you give always returns to you, especially when you are the one who first brought that idea into existence. The return may not come in the form of money or fame, but through the lessons you gain and the good karma that follows.
If you create for the love of creation itself, then you should already feel complete the moment you bring that idea or artwork into the world. You gave it life. How it grows and survives afterward is another story. True artists fall in love with the process, not the outcomes or the awards attached to it. The sense of fulfillment you feel after completing the work is already an achievement in itself, embrace it.
3. Creativity is working hard until the end.
New ideas do not appear out of nowhere. They are the result of long periods of hard work, when you pour your mind and heart into something until it reaches a breakthrough.
Just as water boils at 100 degrees Celsius and turns into vapor, or iron melts at 1,538 degrees Celsius and transforms into liquid form, everything changes once it reaches a certain threshold. If an object moves fast enough, it can disappear from the human eye. In the same way, every skill, every study, every form of research evolves when practiced repeatedly with increasing intensity. Eventually, it reaches a point of transformation. That process creates something new, and that is creativity.

Usually, you begin somewhere simple. You learn the basics first, then practice again and again until you reach a point of transformation. At that moment, your understanding takes on a new form, and you experience a breakthrough.
It could be as simple as learning a new language. At first, you mimic people and learn basic grammar and vocabulary. You try forming full sentences and speaking with native speakers. You’re clumsy at first, but you keep going, you keep practicing, until the language is no longer something you study, it comes naturally. You flow with the words, play with your accent and body language, and turn it into your own style of speaking. This is an example of hard work paying off.
The entire process of learning a language is like boiling water until it reaches 100 degrees Celsius, the point where you can finally speak fluently. Your time and effort transform into a new skill, and that is creativity.
There are many times when you come up with a new idea or a new way of solving problems after a long period of intense brainstorming. You feel stuck and try every possible solution, yet somehow the issue remains. Then you take a break, go for a walk, or step into the shower, and suddenly the solution appears, as if the equation is solving itself. When you work hard and refuse to give up until the very end, breakthroughs eventually happen.
Many geniuses in this world are not only born with innate talent, but are also determined and consistent. Take Thomas Edison, for example, the American scientist and inventor who experimented with the light bulb. He failed 999 times, but through persistence, the bulb finally lit up on the 1,000th attempt. He was an extraordinary inventor, but we would never have known his name if he had given up after a few hundred tries.

4. Creativity is enhancing things
Most of the time, when we talk about creativity, people think it has to be something completely new, new products, new inventions, or new methods. However, creativity can also be about improving the things around you, even in small ways. When you slightly enhance something or improve a situation, you create a better environment for yourself and the people around you. That can trigger new ways of thinking, bring new ideas to light, and help everything flow more smoothly.
This could be anything: a better workplace, a better home, a better outfit, or even a better street corner. Try your best to make everything around you more beautiful, more functional, and easier to work with. If you teach a music class, fix that out-of-tune piano so the students can learn the correct notes. If your house sits at a crossroads, decorate it with colorful plants and flowers so that people passing by can slow down for a moment and appreciate the beauty of life. If your friend has a boring outfit, recommend a new store where they can find clothes that suit them better. If the office is messy, put everything back where it belongs so people can enjoy a more comfortable workspace.
Beautiful surroundings often inspire beautiful thoughts. A clean space can also clear the mind and lead to better decisions. Who knows, your child may come up with a new idea for homework, or your coworker might suddenly feel inspired to start a new project. You never truly know how much your life, and the lives of those around you, can improve simply because of your small gestures of enhancing the world within your reach.

You don’t need to go too far by fixing every corner of your office or trying to braid everyone’s hair. Just do the things that you can and genuinely want to do. Please understand that making the same thing better is still creativity. Work with what you already have, and make it as beautiful as possible.
If your house only has a certain amount of furniture and you only have a limited budget, how can you turn it into a cozy home like the ones you see on Pinterest? That is where creativity emerges, when you work with what you have to produce the best possible outcome. The same applies to your job, your children, and your marriage. This is the game of creativity: you already have the canvas, now learn how to work with it.
You may not be able to change the canvas itself, just as you cannot completely change your husband, but you can make that canvas eye-catching through color and effort. In the same way, you can bring new life into your marriage through your creativity and intention.
5. Creativity is love
When you love something, you open yourself up to a whole new world, new perspectives, and from that come new ideas and new outcomes for your work. That is why love is an endless source of inspiration for art, music, movies, and creativity in general. Artists experience new emotions, new perspectives, and new ways of thinking. They gain more references, more ingredients to work with, and as a result, their work evolves tremendously.
Have you ever loved someone so deeply that the feeling pushed you toward a new horizon? You learn how to cook, dress better, read more, or listen to their favorite music just to understand their taste. You improve yourself for them. They inspire you to become a better version of yourself. This is creativity.
Sometimes, the object of love can be an animal, an object, or a passion. Whatever it is, it pulls you into a new area of life where you must learn everything from scratch. That immersion is a creative process in itself, much like learning a new language. But this time, it is the language of your passion.

When you get a new cat, for example, you expose yourself to the world of cats, their breeds, behaviors, and what makes them happy and healthy. You dress them in cute outfits, talk to them, and play with them. This is creativity.
If you are still struggling to find inspiration, or if you do not see yourself as a creative person, try loving something. It could be the love of a person, a celebrity, a city, a country, or even a specific period in history. I once knew a girl who was obsessed with the medieval era, and everything she created, from homework and books to outfits, the way she spoke, and even how she edited her photos, was inspired by that time period. Having a strong passion can completely transform your life.
After taking that first small step of introducing a new love into your life, you can gradually learn to love everyone and everything around you. When you take the time to truly study and understand people, you realize that everyone has a story to tell, and every situation carries a lesson. If you open yourself fully to the world, you tap into a source of endless inspiration.
At that point, your problem is no longer that you cannot find new ideas, but that you do not have enough outlets to express the overflow of inspiration within you.
6. Creativity is from the Source
Now you know that everything you create comes from your parents, your surroundings, and the people you interact with. Everything shapes who you are and leads you to this very moment. As you move through life, you are constantly creating. Every action, whether you consider it good or bad, belongs to the Universe, to the force behind every creature and every movement on Earth. You are simply playing a part in the greater motion of the Universe, and personally, I do not think we have as much control over our decisions as we believe. Why not just relax, lean back, and observe how the world creates itself through you?
When you create from the ego, meaning you make something only because you personally think it is beautiful, it may only resonate with people who share the same kind of ego, experiences, or background. Others may not understand your product or your art. However, when you reach that deeper place within yourself, where there is no ego, no overthinking, and no need to over-interpret, you begin creating from the soul. And because the soul is connected to the Universe, you are then creating from the Source itself.

At that point, your art can touch anyone on Earth. You create something people naturally resonate with, an invention, an idea, or a piece of art that changes lives and leaves an impact on the world.
Think about the extraordinary people throughout history, the ones who created masterpieces. They were people of both talent and hard work. They had little ego, only deep love for what they did. They loved their craft so much that they became one with it, creating art straight from the heart, art born from the Source. Their intention was never fame or money. Their passion was too pure and too powerful. It was either a love for art itself or a genuine desire to help humanity.
As a result, they ended up changing the world through their creations, and their light continues to spread forever. People will never stop using electricity. They will never stop listening to Moonlight Sonata or admiring the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Because of that, the energy of Nikola Tesla, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Michelangelo continues to live on forever.

You do not need to invent an entirely new musical instrument, cure cancer, or create a masterpiece to become someone who creates from the Source. Sometimes, it is simply about being in the right place at the right time and speaking to the right person. Maybe your kindness toward a stranger later becomes their source of strength, helping them survive a difficult day, and one day they go on to create something meaningful for the world.
Your name may never be written down, but your energy continues living through the people whose lives you touched. You are creating in every moment of your life, so it is better to create from the heart. That way, your light can continue living within the world, because you are the world.
